Altai high school students visited the Skolkovo Innovation Center

The best inventors aged 7 to 18 from 13 regions of Russia took part in the event, including seven children from the Altai region. Each of them is a winner of the regional contests for scientific and technical creativity and robotics, and a holder of the certificate for participation in Baby Farm.

On the first day, the children visited the Eksperimentanium Museum of Entertaining Sciences and took part in the game Investigation in the Museum of Sciences, or Design Your Exhibit. Within master classes and educational programs they had to develop a unique exhibit. Vyacheslav Funk, a student of the 10th form of Slavgorod school No. 15, and Daniil Puzyrny, a student of the 5th form of Barnaul school No. 42 won this contest and got valuable gifts.

Representatives of the Education and Youth Policy Authority of the Altai region added that the guys also attended master classes on piloting aircraft and drones, and a thematic lesson “Internet of Things - Do It Yourself”, where the students could assemble their own Intel Edison based robot-writer. In addition to educational activities, children went on excursions to the Red Square, the Moscow State University and to Vorobyovy Gory.
