Investment potential of the Lipetsk region will be presented to the Dutch businessmen

The presentation of the Lipetsk region will take place on March 21st in the Trade Mission of the Russian Federation in the Netherlands.

Igor Malenko, the Head of Investment and International Relations will tell about the investment potential of our region to the representatives of Dutch business community. It is also planned to study the possibilities of technological cooperation in road construction.

The enterprises and organizations of the Lipetsk region intensively develop trade, economic and investment cooperation with their Dutch partners. In 2016 their mutual foreign trade turnover made 48,9 million US dollars. The basis of the export form the products of ferrous metallurgy. Food, chemical and machine-building products are imported from the Netherlands.

A company for processing potatoes, Belaya Dacha, totaling to 120 million euro, to be put into operation by 2018 is now under construction with the participation of Dutch company Lamb Weston in the Lipetsk special economic zone.

The Lipetsk region is renowned for its favorable investment climate, a unique for Russia three-level system for attraction of capital investments is working here. The regional authorities guarantee to investors the most comfortable conditions of location and business. “Today investments is the major factor of advancement of the territory, these are state-of-the-art technologies and new working places, promising prospects of employment for young specialists. Nurturing our lasting business contacts, we ensure the tomorrow of the region and the wellbeing of its inhabitants”, − considers the Head of Administration of the region Oleg Korolev.
