Today within the 15th Krasnoyarsk economic forum a discussion was held on the topic “Regional and industrial politics: new challenges and perspectives”, where Deputy Director Dmitry Fedorishchev took part representing AIRR.

In the format of round table government representatives, financial structures and development institutions discussed the problems of effective regional industrial politics.

Shaping of industrial politics on the federal and regional levels is an important constituency of a modern stage of reforming in Russia. Accelerating technological development, distribution of advanced production technologies forms a new agenda, new challenges and opportunities for the industrial politics of regions. Increasing of access of advanced industrial technologies opens new opportunities for attraction of investment, modernization of enterprises included.

What is the specificity of Krasnoyarsk territory? How to build an effective regional industrial politics of the region? Are focus on technological competencies, extension of technological chains in the regions able to provide with new opportunities of technological growth?

Deputy Director of AIRR Dmitry Fedorishchev pointed out that growth of competitiveness of the Russian economy and provision with technological independence depend a lot on industrial politics of the country as well as on unified system of support of priority industries.

“As for enterprises, they must have the possibility to work for a real commercial result and competitiveness of proper products without taking the resources on writing different sorts of reports and processing of requirements of authorities and government or on the realization of a part of state’s social functions.’ – highlighted Dmitry Fedorishchev.
