Rustam Khafizov, Head of the Innovative Projects Section, Strategic Development and Innovations Department, Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, was appointed Deputy Director of the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia.
Among important tasks, he mentioned formation of condition and infrastructure in regions, in order to create high-tech entrepreneurship. Exactly this type of business shall be the source of export and development of new technologies and, as a consequence, tax payments to regional budgets. Within this area, Rustam Khafizov plans to apply the available experience to distribute and implement the best Russian and global practices among AIRR regions.
