AIRR and RVC launched a project to support the development of high-tech business

Within the framework of the III International Forum Intellectual Property and Economy of Russian Regions in Kazan, the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia and the Russian venture company launched a project to support the development of high-tech business.

The project is aimed at training regional teams that work with technology companies, as well as searching for projects of roadmaps within the National Technological Initiative of Russia. The project is implemented in the form of consultation sessions that will be held in the regions.

Also, during the plenary session of the Forum, the issues related to the protection of intellectual property were discussed. Deputy Director of AIRR Rustam Khafizov noted the importance of recruiting applicants in areas related to the protection of intellectual property because today this problem is systemic and there are not enough specialists in the field of patenting in the regions.

For example, 93 graduates were trained in specialized specialties in the country in 2018, which makes it impossible to implement an effective mechanism for the transfer and commercialization of technologies.
