On October 13, 2020, RANEPA will host large-scale International Scientific-Practical Conference PANDEMIC 2020: CHALLENGES, SOLUTIONS, CONSEQUENCES.
Participants of the conference intend to analyze and sum up the lessons of COVID-19, to discuss consequences of the pandemic and “challenges” it puts forward to national healthcare systems and state institutions.
Key issues for discussion:
- Peculiarities of COVID-19 virus: emergence of the epidemic, development of the situation.
Will pandemics become the new reality of the 21st century?
- Preventive measures: available opportunities and future potential.
- Lessons of the pandemic: systemic changes that are necessary today.
Vladimir Nazarov, Director of the Finance Research Institute at the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation, will present the key report “COVID-19: Lessons of Fighting Pandemic in the Modern World.”
