External session on the topic «Regions of Russia: new growth points» in the capital of the Kama river region took place the 24th of May. Representatives of the Perm regional government, leading Russian experts in the field of investment, heads of business structures as well as civil activists and Media representatives participated in the discussion.
«We are greatly honoured here in the Perm region to receive the external session of the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum. It is no wonder that our region was chosen as the site of the discussion: the Kama river region (Prikamye) is one of the centers of new economic development – the economy of the real sector and with export-oriented manufacturing. First investment contracts in Russia appeared in the Perm region, we are actively using the cluster approach in industrial development» - stated the interim governor of the Perm region Maxim Reshetnikov.
During the event, participants paid special attention to the issues of investment attraction and effective use of means provided by the government for the economic development. A row of briefing sessions on the topics of export enterprises, promotion of the Russian production in international markets and the questions of Territory marketing were carried out by the experts.
