Medvedev highlighted the importance of the direct state support of small and medium-sized businesses

Moscow, March, 28 /TASS/ Low inflation, tax incentives and reducing of administrative workload are not enough for the development of small and medium-sized businesses, measures of the direct state support are needed – Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev stated at the panel of the Ministry of Economic development.

It became easier to plan business because of low inflation and more affordable credits, highlighted the Prime Minister.

“It has become easier to plan business some time ago because of the macroeconomics of the time we currently have: low inflation, that means more affordable credits, tax exemptions, reducing of administrative workload – no doubt, all this helps entrepreneurs. But this is not enough. It is obvious, that we need some mechanisms related to the direct state support, in particular, for small and medium-sized businesses” – Medvedev said.

As the head of the Government also added, it is necessary to work more actively with the aim to improve the business climate, to qualitatively improve competitive environment, having in mind not only promotion in different international rankings.
