A new production of composite materials will come to the Ulyanovsk SEZ

On July 5, at the INNOPROM exhibition in Yekaterinburg, the head of the region, Alexei Russkikh, and the owner of the Policom company, Oleg Denisov, signed an agreement on the implementation of the investment project. “Production will be located in the port special economic zone beyond the Volga. At the first stage, the volume of investments in the investment project will amount to 120 million rubles, new high-tech jobs will be created for the inhabitants of the region,” Russkikh said. Polikom is engaged in the manufacture of products from composite materials for Russian Railways and plans to expand the range of manufactured goods and build its own production building.

AIRR delegation visited Yakutia

Tatarstan became the leader among the regions in terms of media activity in the field of innovation and investment

 According to the results of May, the Republic of Tatarstan ranked second in terms of media activity in the field of innovation and investment among the regions with the largest economically active population, second only to Moscow. The rating was prepared by the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia. At the same time, in May Tatarstan rose by two points among the subjects of the Federation, where more than 2 million economically active people live. This is the only region that is an AIRR participant in this group.

The rate of decline in the number of open vacancies in innovative areas of the economy in Russia has slowed down significantly

The Association of Innovative Regions has published the next monthly ranking of regions in terms of the availability of specialists for innovative areas of the STEM economy. According to analysts, the rate of decline in STEM vacancies has slowed down significantly: if in March, compared to February, the total number of these vacancies decreased by 23% (44.3 thousand), then in May, compared to April, their number decreased by only 2% ( 2.6 thousand vacancies).
